Yes, there will be a welcome party Thursday, October 23rd from 7:30pm till 10pm on the 3rd floor of the Portsmouth Gas Light Co. to kickoff the start of the wedding weekend! Hor d'eourves will be provided and there is a cash bar. There is an elevator to accommodate any guests who need assistance getting to the 3rd floor.

There is a free self-parking lot on premises at the Wentworth by the Sea. There is also valet parking available for an additional fee. The Hilton and Residence offers valet parking for $40/day. The Hanover Parking Garage in downtown Portsmouth is $2/hr or $40/day. And The Foundry Place Garage in downtown Portsmouth is $1/hr or $20/day.

Yes, there will be a bus picking up guests at the Hilton Garden Inn Portsmouth Downtown at 3:45pm and dropping them back off at the end of the night. Please note that Ubers are very rare and unreliable in Portsmouth, so please do not plan on using Ubers for your transportation.

Since the weather in New England is unpredictable, we ask our guests to monitor the weather as it gets close to the wedding date in case a jacket/coat is necessary. We are planning on having our ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors if weather permits, so layers may be necessary.
